JOB SUMMARY:

The position consists of, but is not limited to, 1) receiving, storing and rotating products in milk cases; and 2) accurate and efficiently filling orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Pull off products in the designated locations, in a timely manner.
  • Rotate existing inventory, tagging and cleaning location prior to placing products in location.
  • Coordinate with other Line Pullers to ensure swift removal of products to location.
  • Fill and complete orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate and pick orders with a Serti scanner.
  • Pick and stack all orders in such a manner as to ensure a safe and clean shipment.
  • Document accurately and legibly, signature and code date on pick sheets.
  • Carefully inspect products for code dates and cleanliness.
  • Load trucks/bobtails
  • Maintain housekeeping and pull up area at the end of the shift.
  • Meet departmental safety, quality and productivity goals.
  • Follow and enforce established policies, processes and procedures and report any violations to management for corrective action.
  • Accurately complete and submit assigned reports and maintain logs and other records.
  • Proactively interact and communicate inter and intra-departmentally to ensure consistent and efficient work flow.
  • Other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:



  • 1 year warehouse operations experience preferred



SKILLS:



  • Operate Palletizer, forklifts, and pallet jacks
  • Basic Mathematics
  • Knowledge of all sections of Shipping and Cooler Department.

  • Comprehend and apply principles of product rotation, dates, codes, and sizes.
  • Read, understand, and carry out instructions.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Assess and resolve problems.
  • Understand and comply with safety and operational policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.


COMPENSATION DETAILS:




  • $27.48 up to $34.35
  • Paid Holidays
  • .25 cents shift differential for all hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am
