As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting access control at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and greet tenants, visitors, and vendors with professional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by following post orders, access control procedures, and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at building entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary credentials per policy, and directing guests to the proper areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems; document access activity and report irregularities to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, assisting with evacuations as directed, and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter, including checking doors, loading areas, and common spaces to help to deter unauthorized access and/or inappropriate activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
