Description

Position summary: Responsible for supervising ARS team members daily, assisting with month-end close, providing solutions to ARS staff on customer issues, reducing overall past due position, problem solving, account recommendations and reviews, and day-to-day reporting. Able to multi-task, manage time very efficiently and be flexible to changing demands of the business.

General purpose: Assist the Credit department to achieve overall company goals and objectives by effectively working with ARS team, Sales, customers and other areas within Propelis.

Role qualifications:



  • Preferred 3+ years of experience managing many accounts.
  • Exceptional skills in Excel and ability to become a department expert in company systems.
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Prefer previous leadership experience - staff management.



Position responsibilities:



  • Supervise team on a day-to-day basis driving results set by management.
  • Follow up on past due invoices as needed.
  • Maintain acceptable DSO and past due amounts.
  • Work with sales and customers to resolve account issues.
  • Responsible for coaching and mentoring ARS staff, which includes coming into the office when necessary.



Essential skills and experience:



  • Prior experience with managing accounts
  • Communication skills across all areas of the organization.
  • Team oriented individual who strives to succeed and achieve company goals.
  • Excel skills (Pivots, VLOOKUP's, Macros, etc.)
  • At least 1 year of experience in SAP
  • Previous supervisory experience in a credit and collections environment.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability.



Reporting relationship:

Reports to Credit Manager.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods of time; perform keyboard entries for long periods of time; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to travel via airplane to customer sites, if necessary.

Educational & Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

    • May be substituted for experience


  • Advanced computer skills
  • Previous credit experience.
  • 3+ years of management and leadership experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $52,236 USD - $65,295 USD. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Previous supervisory experience in a credit and collections environment. (required)
