HR Internship Job Details:

  • Working Hours: Temporary - Part-time, up to 20 hours per week. Willing to accommodate school schedules
  • Duration: February 2026 thru August 2026
  • Location: 12755 State Highway 55, Plymouth, MN 55441

Qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enrolled in Human Resource Management undergraduate courses or a related educational program
  • Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the position
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision (must be highly motivated and self-directed)
  • Appropriately maintains the confidentiality of financial and personnel information
  • Ability to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Set up and organize new electronic files
  • Monitor new hire onboarding
  • Follow up with sites regarding missing new hire paperwork
  • Process employee changes, including rate and status changes
  • Monitor the HR email box and either process/respond or forward emails appropriately
  • Review returned mail and follow up with sites for updated mailing addresses
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
