Job Summary: |
The Laboratory Clinical Applications Analyst is responsible for the ongoing build, maintenance, and support of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory's (CMOCO) and Colorado Genetics Laboratory's (CGL) Information System (LIS). In collaboration with clinical lab staff, the primary functions of the Analyst include system administration, troubleshooting issues, testing for upgrades and patches, processing reports requests, interface testing, change control documentation, and analysis for process improvements. The Analyst will be the main point of contact with the LIS vendor for system support and maintenance. Other laboratory computer applications may be included in the scope of work as the position evolves. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: $58,251 to $68,153 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
