What You'll Be Doing as a Director, Information Technology:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Information Technology to lead enterprise technology initiatives that enable operational excellence and business growth. This role oversees all core IT functions-including infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, ERP, software development, and data analytics-while driving innovation and modernization across the organization.

Technology Strategy & Execution

  • Translate enterprise technology strategy into actionable roadmaps.
  • Prioritize initiatives across infrastructure, security, ERP, and data platforms to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and resource planning.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor IT managers and teams responsible for operations, enterprise applications, and software development.
  • Build capabilities in cloud, data engineering, and emerging technologies while fostering a culture of collaboration and customer focus.

Enterprise Applications & ERP (Manufacturing Focus)

  • Provide oversight for ERP systems, ideally Oracle E-Business Suite, and adjacent manufacturing systems, ensuring stability, integration, and data integrity.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to optimize plan-to-produce, procure-to-pay, and order-to-cash processes.
  • Govern system changes and release management to support manufacturing excellence.

Infrastructure & Cloud Services

  • Ensure reliable and secure IT operations across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Oversee identity management, network architecture, and collaboration platforms.
  • Drive modernization initiatives and optimize vendor relationships for cost efficiency and performance.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Maintain a strong security posture and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee risk management, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
  • Ensure readiness for audits and regulatory requirements while safeguarding sensitive data.

Software Development & Integration

  • Establish best practices for software development and integration, including Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Enable automation and connected systems through API-driven architectures that unify ERP, manufacturing systems, and digital platforms.

Data & Analytics

  • Build a governed data platform to support advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
  • Identify high-impact use cases such as predictive maintenance and demand forecasting to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Financial & Portfolio Management

  • Manage IT budgets and track ROI for major initiatives.
  • Standardize vendor evaluations and cost optimization across infrastructure, cloud, and application portfolios.

Skills and Experience You'll Need as a Director, Information Technology:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven success in ERP and manufacturing systems oversight, ideally Oracle E-Business Suite, technology strategy execution, and enterprise systems management.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and modern data architectures.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: CISM, PMP, Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS), ITIL

Work Environment for a Director, Information Technology:

  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with regular exposure to the manufacturing environment; may be required to lift/move computer equipment (~25 lbs).
  • Occasional travel between facilities and vendors; support critical operations during offhours when needed.
