Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $20.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday); Ability to work overtime as needed Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Middleton, WI. This is a temp to hire position for 1st shift with a company where reliable attendance is rewarded with monthly bonuses after 3 months of employment. Bonus amounts grow with employee tenure. Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Ensure orders and replenishments are completed accurately - Move products from storage with forklift once trained - Operate cut saw and labeling / printing machine during production - Inspect product during production and communicate quality issues - Use table saw to cut samples for the lab - Complete training as back up truck loader - Able to cross-train throughout facility and assist other departments as needed - Operate and monitor pourline equipment - Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues - Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on pourline equipment Requirements for Machine Operator: - 2+ years experience with machine operating and using hand and power tools - Longevity in work history with recent experience in manufacturing - Valid driver's license - Strong focus on safety, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols - Ability to work 50+ hours per week on average - Ability to use math and understand and calculate measurements, fractions and weight scales and document accordingly - Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, requests and problems to fellow employees and supervisors on a one-to-one basis, as well as over the phone and in written form - Ability to work as part of a team - Ability to lift up to 50+lbs throughout a shift - Ability to read, write and understand English - Excellent attendance Madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
