Salary : 55K Annually Job Summary This role is responsible for the independent design, implementation, and evaluative oversight of specialized training programs that directly impact organizational compliance, employee retention, and long-term career growth. Curriculum Design & Innovation: Lead the end-to-end development, design, and testing of new training content utilized across the organization. This includes the autonomous selection and creation of multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works tailored to organizational needs. Training Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and lead standardized training processes and policies. Training conducted by this position includes but not limited to: Person Center, ODD, Human Rights, Mandt, select training during Staff Development Day. Organizational Needs Assessment: Lead focus groups and conduct consultations with department heads and stakeholders to diagnose training gaps and develop unique programs that align with corporate career growth and retention goals. LMS Strategy & Management: Direct the centralization of training processes and tracking. Curate and evaluate training opportunities within the organization's LMS and from external sources to ensure high-quality professional development. Create, update, and maintain any assigned tracking documents that pertain to mandatory and/or compliance training for the organization. Share findings with the appropriate teams Compliance Oversight: Independently manage and maintain assigned tracking systems for mandatory and compliance training, ensuring the organization meets all regulatory requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
Support the Career Development Specialists with individuals taking part in the Employee Development Program. Make recommendations to support the development and roll out of training content/information related to ServiceSource systems and processes. Make recommendations for revision of training curriculum and methods. Works with Talent Development and other leadership to prepare training budget and maintains records and reports of expenses. Make recommendations for ongoing improvements in all Talent Development programs based on observations and/or needs assessments. Assess and understand the training needs across the organization and its affiliates. Confer with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies. Maintain and understanding of adult-learning and virtual-learning techniques, as well as all content areas. Maintain an understanding of accessibility in the L&D field. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
Bachelor's degree in education, Communications, Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field is required. High school diploma with five (5) years' experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree. Three to five (3-5) years' experience in curriculum development and/or curriculum instruction is required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Relational, Conceptual, and Technical (RCT) MANDT Systems Instructor Certification within 3 months of hire required. Must be able to commute to on-site in Oakton, VA. Must be able to travel locally as needed to other sites.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, and the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software. Experience with Workday HRIS Management System preferred. Candidates with experience using Workday Learning LMS system will be strongly preferred. Must be able to work well with people internally and externally at all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal communication skills and public speaking skills. Detail-oriented, and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy.
