Position Summary Perform cataloging, acquisitions, metadata, and record maintenance functions as well as monitor standard processing operations. Assist in systems maintenance. Assist with special projects. Assist with training and reviewing work of casual and/or student employees. Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems. Qualifications Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience: 1+ years office experience Preferred Experience: 1+ years of library-related work experience. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organization skills. Ability to perform detailed work with high degree of accuracy. Proficiency with basic word processing and database applications; knowledge of and ability to update, edit and search a variety of online library databases, including OCLC (Online Computer Library Center). Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of foreign languages. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $36.329. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
