Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Systems Engineer II in San Diego, CA to implement data quality and validation measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data stored in Snowflake. Requires a Master's in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent and three (3) years of experience developing high scale and distributed systems and implementing functions, stored procedures, complex SQL, and performance tuning; conducting data mining and extract to transform and load data using databases with large-scale and complex datasets; assessing queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting; optimizing ongoing processes to reduce data processing time and monthly expenditures and convert full data load to incremental; troubleshooting systems to reconcile revenues, taxes, and product profitability in the data-warehouse against heterogeneous source systems; utilizing MySQL and Oracle databases, Powercenter Informatica for ETL, Unix for scripting, and AWS for on demand cloud computing; and integrating enhancements and performing regression and integration testing to migrate code to all environments, capturing evidence, and maintaining track on Microsoft Office. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

Salary range: $150,528.00 - $225,100.00/year
