Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers (SASC) provides children and adults of all levels of ability the opportunity to live active, healthy lives through participation in a variety of adaptive sports and recreational activities. A variety of land and water activities are offered in both individual and group settings. Candidate will help facilitate activities and make adaptations to meet the capabilities and goals of each individual.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials Required:
- Valid driver's license with no driving violations
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, AED
Experience Prior experience working with people with disabilities 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of adaptive sport basics and ability to gain an understanding of SASC programming. - Demonstrate an ability to attain knowledge of adaptive sports equipment. - Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Ability to work with participants of all ages and level of abilities from pediatric to geriatric. - Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, working with a diverse population. - Work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team. - High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations. -Promote and maintain safe sporting environment while assessing changing variables throughout the activities.
