Arizona Public Service generates reliable, affordable and clean energy for 2.7 million Arizonans. As the state's largest and longest-serving energy provider, our more than 6,000 dedicated employees power our vision of creating a sustainable energy future for Arizona. Summary
The Corporate Functional Area Leader (CFAL) - Materials Management provides recommendations and guidance in developing standardized policies, programs, procedures, work practices and fundamentals for the Supply Chain functional groups supported (e.g., Strategic Procurement, Materials Management, Inventory & Logistics, Work Management, Safety, and cross functional BUs). Coordinates and directs this effort throughout the entire organization to ensure consistency and compliance in application at all levels. Leverages Supply Chain assets to the fullest extent. Ensures effectiveness and efficiency of such documents & systems. Provides oversight and guidance to Supply Chain management within the respective Functional Areas for both EAMS & Fusion. Works across the APS Network in concert with leaders to execute standardization. The CFAL role is a developmental opportunity that is designed to give an employee experience in a lead role across the business unit. The EAMS Corporate Functional Area Leader (CFAL) for the Materials Management Business Group serves as the primary functional steward and systemsfocused leader responsible for ensuring that all materialsrelated processes-spanning warehousing, inventory management, logistics, procurement interfaces, and upstream/downstream integrations-operate effectively within the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS). This role provides daytoday and strategic systems support by partnering closely with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and crossfunctional teams to diagnose system issues, guide resolution paths, and maintain stable, highquality operations. A central responsibility of the CFAL is to lead enhancement design and development management: gathering business requirements, shaping system design, validating technical feasibility, prioritizing enhancements, coordinating Agile development cycles, and overseeing testing, deployment, and adoption of new or improved EAMS capabilities. The CFAL ensures enhancements align with enterprise architecture, Fusionrelated dependencies, data governance expectations, and crossmodule implications on Supply Management, Work Management, Asset Management, Finance & Accounting, and integration partners. In addition to managing enhancements, the CFAL drives continuous improvement by analyzing system performance, data quality, and user experience to identify opportunities for optimization within Materials Management. They champion standardized processes, lead change management efforts for new system features or upgrades, and coordinate training and communication to ensure consistent adoption across warehouses, plants, and business units. The CFAL acts as the business group's voice in platform governance, representing Materials Management needs in backlog prioritization, defect remediation, integration planning, and longterm roadmap development. As a functional leader, they work to strengthen data reliability, ensuring accurate item master data, rotating asset tracking, inventory accuracy, and reporting integrity-while fostering alignment between business operations and technical teams. Ultimately, the CFAL ensures that the EAMS environment continually evolves to support efficient material flows, system sustainability, operational readiness, and APS's broader digital transformation goals.
