Location: 355 North Fifth Street Indiana, Pa 15701 Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department) Function: Provides internal and external customer service in a centralized Loan Servicing Center and performs various project oriented and administrative duties in support of the operation of the Loan Systems Department. Provides support to management within the Loan Servicing Center and throughout the loan related departments of the bank and assumes the role of a team leader to staff peers. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with establishing and implementing workflow efficiencies through the use of technology Create and maintain comprehensive procedures and training materials for all aspects of the Loan Systems Processing department Create and maintain the monthly workflow schedule and coordinate cross training of team members Performs the following functions for loans with a high degree of proficiency and a mastered level of understanding:
Performs file review and on-line data entry and verification of all loan types (installment, mortgage, commercial, Letters of Credit, & PCR) which includes establishing accounts and appropriate relationships for guarantors and co-borrowers. Floor plan maintenance and daily processing. Maintains application systems by performing complex maintenance tasks and reviewing reports such as Maintenance Cross-check with the expectation of resolving aged items not reconciled by staff peers. Performs account maintenance such as billing adjustments, payment schedules, commitment and note changes, etc. Serve as back-up for Supervisor in review of loan billings and late notices, as well as for the monitoring of workflow backlogs and assignment of on demand requests to staff. Enters and maintains information concerning maintenance on the Insight tickler system. Morning report and loan document preparation for daily processing. Processing and maintenance responsibilities for the most complex loan structures offered by the bank, including:
Rate Swaps SBA and other Government guaranteed lending Participations, Club Deals, and tranche structures Asset Based Lending Guidance Lines of Credit consisting of various sub note structures Letters of Credit tied to complex commitment structures Attorney Prepared Loans Forbearance agreements and other work out amendments
Provides application system assistance and training to bank personnel and staff peers as needed within and outside of the department. This includes constant communication with the loan origination departments to ensure clear and accurate coding and interface of data to the core loan system, as well as the recognition and assistance in remediating workflow issues with the appropriate supervisor. Assists in resolving loan control and other control GL outages as they pertain to the staff and operation of the Loan Servicing Center. Bank Control rate change verification and maintenance (ie. Prime rate, Adjustable Rate Mortgages, etc.) Researches and resolves questions for both internal & external customers, including large commercial relationships, the Internal Solution Center, and retail and commercial Relationship Managers. Performs special projects for management that require an advanced understanding of the core loan system, internal and attorney prepared documentation, and interface to the general ledger. Maintains a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Works as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization. Assumes additional duties as required.
Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education. Experience: Five to ten years specialized experience. Deep experience in loan systems and processing functions Physical Demands: Operates a keypad device: 98% of the day; operates office equipment: 2% of the day. Sitting is required 99% of the day. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work.
