A Shift in Action

Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials, including stainless steel, precious and semi-precious metals, using various types of welding processes, which may include TIG and/or MIG. May operate a program welding machine to weld production units and also assist the machine welding operator in program welding higher volume production units when workload requires it. Welds must pass destructive and non-destructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product. Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements. Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts. Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required.
