Join Our Team as a Category Manager at Epiroc!

Your Mission:

As Category Manager for Indirect Sourcing, you will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance teams across multiple sites within the region. Your mission includes driving Category Management with a strong focus on all local Indirect Categories.You will contribute to the execution of Epiroc's Indirect Sourcing strategic priorities - People & Team, Cost Efficiency, Resilience, Sustainability, and Innovation - and ensure they are embedded into all sourcing activities and decisions.

Responsibilities:

You will secure the best possible supplier base, performance, sustainability, and compliance to meet Epiroc's strategic sourcing and operational targets. This includes:

* Developing, implementing, and continually improving Category Strategies aligned with business needs and group objectives
* Driving Supplier Relationship Management and building strong, longterm partnerships
* Leading costreduction and valuecreation initiatives across the supported entities
* Managing contracting activities, including negotiation, administration, risk management, and compliance
* Supporting supplier development activities with a focus on performance, service levels, quality, and safety
* Ensuring access to the latest technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions within indirect supply markets
* Strengthening supply-chain resilience by evaluating risks, ensuring continuity, and diversifying supply sources where needed
* Collaborating closely with regional stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement
* Ensuring alignment with Epiroc Group Sourcing priorities, processes, and crossfunctional initiatives
* Representing the region in relevant internal and external sourcing forums

* You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, competitive, and sustainable supply solutions that support business continuity and operational excellence.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with strong experience in indirect sourcing, category management, and a solid understanding of MRO environments and manufacturing operations.

You ideally bring:


* Experience managing categories such as MRO, industrial tools and equipment, PPE, consumables, IT, or capital machinery
* Knowledge of sustainability, compliance, and supplierrisk management
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and suppliermanagement capabilities
* Experience supporting multiple sites or business units in a regional or multientity setup
* A university degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent relevant experience
* Additional training or education in sustainability/ESG is a plus
* Fluency in English and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
