Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing all initiatives and projects within assigned programs to ensure successful delivery of strategic business outcomes. This role manages program budgets and timelines, mitigates risks, drives continuous improvement, and partners closely with project managers, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, execution, and value realization.

Responsibilities - Essential Duties



  • Oversee alignment, planning, and execution of all initiatives and projects within assigned programs to deliver new capabilities and achieve strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and manage program-level budgets and timelines across all related initiatives and projects, ensuring business cases and benefits are fully realized.
  • Lead and mentor project managers in identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring all projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with program sponsors, project managers, and cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, required resources, project plans, and budgets for new initiatives.
  • Track progress against milestones, budgets, and key performance indicators; prepare clear and timely reports for senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and excellence within the PMO; support prioritization of projects and programs based on business impact and resource availability.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor to support departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by taking reasonable care for personal health and safety and that of others.



Expertise - Knowledge & Skills



  • Advanced knowledge of the professional field and industry, with the ability to influence and apply key principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, providing direct or indirect supervision, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and contributing to performance management and hiring recommendations.
  • Strong judgment and problemsolving skills for resolving complex issues based on experience.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and interpret information, and consult with senior management as needed.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of related professional experience required.
  • Relevant industry or professional certifications preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Occasional business travel required.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
