Position Title: Physical Security Planner

Business Unit: Physical Security

Reports to: Various

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for providing technical and physical support for security areas such as access control, alarm monitoring, video surveillance, and threat intelligence. The Physical Security Planner will work in collaborative team configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise level security system access control, video systems and database applications. The Planner will evaluate security incidents and has to effectively communicate with law enforcement, security vendors, and branch staff.

Primary Responsibilities

Create access control badges and work on the company's access control system, to ensure proper access for employees and vendors across the entire footprint. This includes creating new badges, making replacement badges, and granting additional access.

Reviewing and completing submitted Alarm Monitoring Forms. This includes assigning alarm codes with proper alarm points, generating a false alarm pin for our alarm monitoring system, and granting online alarm testing access to those who request it.

Answering the Physical Security phone line and email inbox. This includes trouble shooting security issues with service technicians, answering employee's security related questions, redirecting employees to proper departments when question is unrelated to security, submitting service requests, and working with security specialists when problems arise in their areas.

Responsible for maintaining a complete chronological record of security issues, alarm activations, and all security related incidents that are reported during the day to the Physical Security Line Log and evaluate and analyze situational events and determine appropriate communication response to law enforcement agencies during security incidents.

Organizing and maintaining security policies, procedures, documents, and plans. This includes updating policies and procedures to abide with updating schedules, create monthly reports for physical security data and guard documentation, and maintaining building evacuation plans and trainings.

Ensures inoperable alarm and video equipment are properly documented and service repairs are promptly generated via SecureStat Online and provide guidance to security vendors and be a liaison between vendor and specialist

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
