As a Security Officer - Main Gate Control in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at key entry points, verify credentials, and support badge processing while maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-in, and maintaining access logs according to site requirements.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating driver check-in, monitoring inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, and documenting trailer, seal, and delivery information as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
