Position Highlights:

• Position: Unit Secretary - Neurology Unit- Days
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Part time, 24 hours/week
• Must be able to attend a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Orientation from about 8:00am-4:30pm on the week of starting.
• This is a year round position, not available for seasonal staff
• Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm , Every other weekend required
• Required Travel: No

General Summary:

Reporting to the clinical manager or designee, with accountability to the other caregivers enters department specific patient treatments/charges to facilitate management of the patient healthcare record. Assists the care team in coordinating patient activities and services. Assists in coordinating communication and resources between care team, physicians, patients and family members. In ancillary areas, may coordinate and schedule department specific patient procedures in the hospital's scheduling system. May require 1:1 to a patient.

What you will need:

• The level of knowledge normally acquired through the completion of High School or the equivalent.
• Minimum one-year data or order entry experience using a computer preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred
