As a Security Officer - Diploma Verified Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location as an unarmed, driving patrol officer. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to service calls with clear communication and a customer-first mindset. Working with a reliable, agile team, you will document observations, support site policies, and contribute to a culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies for a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas through observation and available systems, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required logs and incident reports, communicate key updates to site leadership and/or incoming shifts, and support orderly movement of employees, guests, and deliveries.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
