As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will focus on access control by greeting drivers and employees, checking credentials, managing visitor and delivery logs, and helping direct traffic at entry points. You will remain a visible presence, complete rounds of the immediate area, and communicate clearly with site teams about security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing traffic to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound truck activity and shipping and receiving areas by verifying appointments and/or documentation, communicating with site contacts, and reporting irregularities per policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yard areas, trailer lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and document observations in written reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
