Description

Key contributor to business case preparation for Product and Strategy initiatives. Conducts analysis and research assisting the Product team with business cases. Assists in the ongoing administration and development of product enhancements. Assists other team members on special projects and other functions as directed.

Essential Functions:

Product Analysis and Administration



  • Key contributor to business case preparation for product and research initiatives.
  • Participates in the implementation of new products, upgrades and conversions.
  • Performs research, implementation, documentation, and maintenance tasks for assigned banking products. May be the primary or backup support for specific products.
  • Works closely with Product Managers to ensure that appropriate support standards documented and followed.
  • Assists Product Managers with product analysis determining product market fit, design, pricing, terms and features.
  • Performs product troubleshooting tasks, including working closely with business unit personnel on a regular basis to assist in defining product requirements and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Plans, manages, facilitates, instructs and monitors project activities for all assigned projects.
  • Utilizes office automation tools to create efficient processes and procedures within the job function and with users as needs arise.
  • Assists in supporting all reporting requirements for products.
  • Evaluates product upgrades for business and application impact, and creates the business benefits analysis/evaluation.
  • Researches opportunities to improve product penetration.
  • Documents support plans, support processes and procedure and various business requirements.
  • Follows established change management procedures for product releases, enhancements and upgrades.
  • Provides input in the development of communication and education for the bank's Retail/Commercial products and assists in conducting education with business partners and customers.
  • Perform compliance and risk management duties as required or assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university (equivalent experience may substitute)
  • Three years of progressively responsible applicable business experience, including specific experience with Information Systems.
  • Outstanding technical skills, including the ability to analyze and develop complicated documents in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications; outstanding report-writing skills
  • Ability to effectively apply appropriate technologies in a business setting.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to review and present complex data in an organized, logical format.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy as needed to deliver a quality product
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the interpersonal ability to deal tactfully and effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required.


Compensation:

Product Specialist I - $51,636 - $77,454
Product Specialist II - $59,209 - $88,814
Product Specialist III - $67,815 - $101,781

The pay range represents the low and high end of the pay range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
