This role is critical in maintaining production efficiency, improving system performance, and ensuring seamless integration of automated machinery across the facility.

Hours and Pay



  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Compensation: $42.31 per hour

Daily Responsibilities



  • Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times and equipment performance
  • Monitor, track, and follow up on machinery projects and equipment installations
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems, robotic equipment, and automated machinery issues
  • Maintain and update program backups for plant machinery and control systems
  • Program and support new installations of machinery and conveyor systems
  • Reprogram and optimize equipment for engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support plant operations by ensuring automation systems meet quality and production goals



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or equipment debugging
  • Working knowledge of PLC logic and controls, including Siemens and/or Indramat systems
  • Electrical background as an electrician, technician, or controls engineer
  • Experience with servo drives, VFDs, encoders, and Ethernet/network-based control systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently and identify opportunities for performance improvements
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with ABB robotics systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within manufacturing environments
  • Ability to support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and production efficiency
