Equipment Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (PLC / Automation) - Contract-to-Hire

Shifts Available: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM M-F or 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM M-F

We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support high-volume, automated manufacturing operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting PLC-driven equipment, diagnosing issues, and quickly restoring production through mechanical, electrical, and automation fixes.

Key Responsibilities:

  Diagnose and troubleshoot automated equipment, including PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)

  
  
• 
  

  Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components

  
  
• 
  

  Keep production running by adjusting systems, replacing parts, and resolving faults in real time

  
  
• 
  

  Execute preventive maintenance on robotics, conveyors, and production line equipment

  
  
• 
  

  Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and PLC logic for fault tracing

  
  
• 
  

  Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement efforts

  
  
• 
  

  Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status

  Experience working with PLCs in a manufacturing environment

  Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

  Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume production settings

  Comfortable working at heights as needed
