Regions Hospital is looking for an outstanding Certified Pharmacy Technician-Lead to join our Outpatient team. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all.

Our Certified Pharmacy Technician-Lead will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, Lead Pharmacist, or Pharmacist to assist in the provision of effective, appropriate and safe pharmacy distribution services; customer services and related duties as assigned.

The Certified Pharmacy Technician-Lead directs the work of Certified Pharmacy Technician Staff in an assigned area to accomplish department goals.

Work Schedule:

  • FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly)
  • Day/Evening shift and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 Years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Registered as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy AND
  • Current national certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Healthcareer Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program for pharmacy technicians or completion of Minnesota Board of Pharmacy technician training requirements if registered as a pharmacy technician after January 1st, 2013.
  • 4 Years of Pharmacy Technician in a hospital, community or institutional pharmacy experience.
  • Previous Leadership experience.
