The Facilities Coordinator prepares the processes related to the repair and renovation of the system or facility's buildings and utilities service. Working under moderate supervision, this role distributes work requests across staff members to coordinate ongoing facilities operations to meet the needs of the hospital.

Essential Job Function
  • Documents status reports on work, equipment, and costs and reports to the management team for the development of planning and control analyses.
  • Communicates through verbal and written means with other hospital departments in collaboration with the department supervisors to share relevant information with stakeholders.
  • Processes work order requests through mail, e-mail, and telephone sent from different campuses and outbuildings in order to assign responsibilities for completion.
  • Prioritizes and assigns work orders according to established departmental processes to ensure that the most critical tasks are resolved.
  • Identifies opportunities for facilities repair and renovation process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent

Experience
  • Required: 3 years

Licensure/Certification/Listing
  • Required: Valid Driver's License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle, must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
