Job Description SummaryOrganization Summary Statement: The office serves both undergraduate and graduate students by providing individualized advising, resources on academic policies and degree programs, and support in exploring curricular options that align with their academic and professional goals. Position Summary: The Advisor will support firstyear student retention initiatives within EDUC and assist with data reporting related to teacher education admissions, enrollment trends, and projections. This position is responsible for monitoring student progress toward degree completion in alignment with established college benchmarks and will collaborate with the Assistant Director on recruitment efforts both on and off campus, as well as participate in departmental and college committees. Physical Demands: Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Two (2) years of experience providing counseling or advising services.
