POSITION SUMMARY

Achieve sales objectives through effective customer service a communication. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for servicing and selling to different customers through an assigned district, maintaining current vendor managed inventory set up, and planning and organizing new customer locations. District Service Representatives reports to the Customer Service Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interact extensively with sales representatives and customers to clarify their needs, and research different situations
  • Communicate with customers to gain potential growth opportunities and product line extensions.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions from customers to management and sales team.
  • Provide spot buy capabilities to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Help with GAP coverage with sales representatives that are on vacation or open sales territories.
  • Learn, enforce, and support corporate policies and guidelines in a consistent, professional company manner.
  • Create and maintain professional image.
  • Complete paperwork necessary to fulfill position responsibilities.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to solve problems in situations where most problems have occurred before and their solutions are familiar, or at least where only little limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to communicate detailed information, frequently involving customer needs and wants.
  • Ability to organize and plan short and long term projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization in writing and verbally outside of voice mail.
  • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
