The EHS Manager manages the environmental health and safety (EHS) function across assigned operations and provides leadership to professional team members and/or supervisors. The EHS Manager is accountable for the performance and results of the EHS team, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations. This individual adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges and evolving regulatory standards. Provides technical guidance and expertise to leadership, employees, and customers while developing and implementing programs that foster a culture of safety, compliance and environmental stewardship. Operates with guidance from Plant Manager and corporate safety. Collaborates cross-functionally to integrate EHS practices into business operations. Key Responsibilities
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related science. Minimum five years' experience in manufacturing environment. Must have experience in waste management, air/water permitting, emergency response and regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA). Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related science. Prefer 8-11 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred certifications: OSHA 10 hour, OSHA 30 hour, ASP, CSP, SMS. Spans of Control
