Job Title: Project Manager / Coordinator (Exp with Medicaid Grants)

Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide project management support for Rural Health Transformation initiatives funded through CMS grants.
- Coordinate activities across multiple initiatives including Medicaid Primary Accountable Care Transformation (PACT), Rural Health Access and Quality Grants, and Behavioral Health programs.
- Support the design, refinement, and implementation of the Medicaid Primary Accountable Care Transformation (PACT) model.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, working sessions, and progress reviews.
- Track project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across initiatives.
- Prepare status reports, progress updates, and executive briefings for State leadership and stakeholders.
- Support CMS grant reporting requirements and outcome tracking.
- Assist with policy development, program implementation, and operational workflows.
- Coordinate with state agencies, healthcare providers, and external vendors.
- Support the grant administration process, including application tracking, award monitoring, and compliance oversight.
- Assist with identifying and addressing issues of non-compliance or underperformance by grant subrecipients.
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures in coordination with finance staff.
- Assist DSS staff with federal grant evaluation activities and reporting requirements.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for program evaluation.
- Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Assist with planning and coordination of the annual Case Management / Medicaid Workshop.
- Provide technical assistance and communication support to program stakeholders.
- Support planning and coordination of stakeholder engagement activities and workshops.
- Provide technical assistance to stakeholders through office hours, webinars, meetings, and educational outreach.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Experience managing large-scale healthcare or public sector projects.
- Experience working with Medicaid programs or healthcare systems.
- Strong skills in stakeholder coordination, facilitation, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and program documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification.
- Experience working with CMS-funded programs or federal grants.
- Experience with healthcare transformation initiatives or alternative payment models.
- Experience coordinating multi-vendor or multi-agency programs.
- Experience with grant administration, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems and Medicaid policies.
- Experience supporting RFP processes, vendor oversight, and contract management.
