Job Description:
What is the primary mission of this role?
- Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform analysis to identify and resolve technical observations.
- Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
- Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks milestones/schedules.
- Integrate and test system software builds for supporting integration, verification, and test activities.
- Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews).
- Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies.
- Willingness to do local and non-local travel including experience with domestic and foreign military sales products.
- Expected travel is around 10%.
Required Skills:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with a program language i.e. (MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix).
- Experience with systems engineering, integration, networking, verification, validation and/or testing.
Desired Skills:
- Experience using test equipment, software installations, and integrating or regression testing systems with certifications in CompTIA Network+ and or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, Perl, C/C++, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification and test analysis, integrating and configuring electronics/network routers, and installing/debugging software.
- Familiarity with creating integration test procedures, test plans, test scripts, developing and maintaining configuration control documentation, and navigating through test setup schematics.
- Knowledge of agile and DevSecOps processes, implement (or maintain) agile methodologies, participating in daily team standup meetings, sprint reviews, program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and agile tooling such as JIRA and Confluence, and support execution of the team's backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation.
- Strong individual integration skills, knowledge of system algorithms, signal processing concepts, and determining system performance within a team environment.
