This person can site anywhere in the continental US near an airport. Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Sales & Business Development * Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting military aviation commands, depots, maintenance facilities, and defense contractors. * Grow revenue and market share for aerospace coatings, including primers, topcoats, specialty coatings, and corrosion-protection products. * Identify new business opportunities within the DoD, government contractors, and military subcontractor networks. * Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closure. Account Management * Maintain strong relationships with established military accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Serve as the primary point of contact for technical questions, coating specifications, product performance, and application processes. * Conduct regular site visits to military bases, depots, and MROs to assess needs and support field operations. * Monitor customer usage, forecast demand, and ensure reliable product supply. Technical & Specification Support * Provide technical guidance on coating selection, application processes, and compliance with MIL-SPEC and aerospace standards. * Support product qualification efforts for new military coatings, coordinating with R&D, quality, and compliance teams. * Deliver product demonstrations, training, and application support to military painters, engineers, and maintenance teams. * Stay informed of DoD coating requirements, corrosion-prevention initiatives, and aerospace material performance standards. Government & Contracting Activities * Understand and navigate government procurement processes, contracting pathways, and defense acquisition frameworks. * Support proposal development, bid responses, and government contract documentation. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contract requirements, and compliance obligations. Market Intelligence * Monitor military aviation trends, fleet modernization programs, depot maintenance cycles, and emerging defense requirements. * Report competitive activity, pricing trends, and new technologies affecting aerospace coatings. * Provide feedback to internal teams to support product development and innovation. Working Conditions Fieldbased role with regular travel to military facilities, depots, OEMs, and customer sites. Occasional exposure to industrial environments, including paint hangars and maintenance bays. Minimum Requirements:
