Position Summary/ Department Summary:
The Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital has a rich tradition of research and discovery, with an expansive interest in many different areas of reconstructive plastic and oral surgery including adolescent breast/chest conditions, craniofacial anomalies, cleft lip palate, and more. Our department is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) to work under the supervision of one of our craniofacial surgeons to study the medical and surgical management of Parry-Romberg Syndrome, a rare craniofacial disorder characterized by progressive hemifacial atrophy. This role will involve collaborating with the departments of Dermatology and Rheumatology at Boston Children's Hospital to comprehensively assess progression/stabilization among patients exhibiting PRS symptomology through the use of 3D photogrammetric analysis, as well as retrospectively investigating the management and prognosis of patients with PRS over the past 40 years. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
