Overview

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our OB/GYN team as an Advanced Practice Provider Lead at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

Essential Job Functions:

  • Hold weekly time to identify practice and professional opportunities among APP colleagues
  • Participate in Provider Engagement action planning
  • Serve as APP representative in Women's Health leadership meetings, as part of appropriate clinical/ operational dyads
  • Routinely report APP updates at Women's Health Provider meetings
  • Participate in provider and operational leader recruitment and onboarding
  • Participate in relevant quality and process improvement initiatives impacting APP care delivery
  • Lead routine Women's Health APP forums to discuss practice and operational concerns specific to APPs
  • Responsible for practice issues and group dynamics in APP group specialty
  • Weekly check-in/meeting with APP Director
  • Liaison between administration and APP practice groups
  • Consults from department regarding practice concerns
  • Address issues with MD/APP with Medical partner
  • Rounding in respective areas as needed
  • Assist with recruitment initiatives for perspective area
  • Serve as point of contact for APP clinical student / preceptor placements
  • Onboarding specialist to evaluate progress of new APP
  • Help with performance evaluations in specialty area
  • Serve as behavioral interview participant
  • Increase retention, engagement and value through effective leadership and prompt answers to questions or concerns brought forward by APP group
  • Additional duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

Three (3) years Healthcare/Medical - Nurse: Nursing Practitioner or Three (3) years Healthcare/Medical - Physician Assistant

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $78.88/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
