Position Summary The Purchasing Assistant provides supportive services for the procurement of goods and services under the guidance of the Purchasing Manager, as well as management of the agency's fleet. The Purchasing Manager has supportive responsibilities include the need to understand company needs based on stock, inventory, projects and plans as well as the understanding of general sales and market trends according to the industry. The Purchasing Assistants may be responsible for the development of successful relationships with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers while ensuring that the required products are always in stock as well as manage the purchasing requests of COMHAR programs.
