The Sr. Product Manager, Technical will lead technical product delivery and solutioning for subscription platform capabilities and the subscription benefits ecosystem, enabling digital products, partner integrations, and lifecycle management. This role partners across Marketing, Finance, Benefits, Product, Architecture, and Engineering to translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions that support subscription growth and customer experience.
This role is critical for managing sophisticated technical products that align with business goals and customer needs within the organization. It involves leading the product lifecycle end to end, including vision, roadmap, technical delivery, and partner collaboration. The role requires integrating customer insights, market analysis, and technical feasibility to prioritize product features and improvements. Success is measured by delivering products that meet business goals, customer happiness, and technical performance metrics. The work impacts the organization by driving product innovation, operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experiences through effective product management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Drive delivery of subscription platform initiatives, including partner onboarding, lifecycle enhancements, and benefit offer capabilities, by collaborating across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering teams.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for sophisticated technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market and customer research to see opportunities and advise product strategy and roadmap development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, architecture, and partners to drive technical delivery and product releases.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize features, assess risks, and support decision-making processes.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog for subscription capabilities, supporting Agile execution and CI/CD practices to enable scalable, SaaS API-driven delivery of new features and benefits.
- Identify execution, operational, and interpersonal issues that impede product success, and drive improvement plans to resolve issues within sphere of influence.
- Support and enable core Agile practices and tenets, including efficient just-in-time flow, lean practices, elimination of waste, and DevOps CI/CD.
- Collaborates and develops positive relationships with many teams, including sales, commercial accounting, marketing, legal, go-to-market, finance, development, architecture, and engineering, as well as customer groups and representatives
- Manages development of adoption tools and training materials.
- Develops adoption tools and training material for Technical Product Management team.
- Maintains professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)
- 6+ years experience in hands on technical writing production code, solution engineering, or technical architecture in large scale company/application/product environment.
- 7+ years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. Advanced level understanding of customer experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Agile Methodologies: Proven success in advising matrixed resources and delivering software, with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools, across multiple teams. (Required)
- Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences. (Required)
- Agile Project Management: Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools. (Required)
- Collaboration: Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest. (Required)
- Product Management: Experience in delivering large and sophisticated business/technology initiatives as Product Manager or lead technology role. (Required)
- Communication: Proven track record to effectively and efficiently connect with Leadership, while employing a high degree of teamwork and influence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present sophisticated technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders. (Required)
- Technology: Deep understanding of platform technologies and components such as security, performance, optimization, and API integration.
- Advanced knowledge of full technology stack on which your assigned product runs. (Required)
- Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data and use the data to drive decisions. (Required)
- SQL: Knowledgeable with SQL and has data driven approach. (Required)
- Tableau: Fluent with SQL, Tableau, other analytical solutions like SAS, SPSS. (Required)
- Integration: Knowledge and experience with integration patterns, APIs, and protocols such as REST, EDI, SOAP, etc. (Required)
- DevOps: Extensive knowledge of DevOps (CI / CT / CD) and application of CI/CT/CD in Agile environment. (Required)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) (Preferred)
- Other Technical Certification Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $130,900 - $236,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
