This position is responsible for supporting the organization's strategic initiatives both internally and externally leveraging business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making efforts. This role reports directly to the CFO and involves transforming complex operational, financial, and market data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, operational improvement, growth initiatives, and mission advancement.

What is required in this position?

  • Requires a master's degree from an approved Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related graduate program.
  • Requires 2-5 years' experience in healthcare operations, business intelligence, including healthcare data & analytics, and business development, preferably within aging services or post-acute care
  • Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office and ability to leverage AI required, Tableau and Power BI preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level decision-making through data analysis and reporting.

Essential Duties:

  1. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business intelligence and analytics capabilities across the organization.
  2. Collaborate with the CEO, CFO and executive leadership team to support strategic planning, operational initiatives, new business development and organizational growth aligned with mission and vision.
  3. Develop and monitor KPIs to track operational, clinical, financial, and community-health performance/impact.
  4. Lead and coordinate performance improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary workgroups to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  5. Oversee data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting to support executive decision-making and board-level reporting.
  6. Conduct complex data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges related to patient care, operational efficiency, revenue, and cost management.
  7. Support survey preparedness initiatives through data analysis, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  8. Quantify, articulate, and illustrate the impact of nursing home and community health programs for internal and external communications in collaboration with leadership and departments.
  9. Mentor and develop administrative interns, including setting expectations and guiding project work, in support of workforce development related to exposure to aging services.
  10. Contribute analytic support to funding requests, grants and endowment management, and other strategic financial initiatives
  11. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.
  12. Monitor and report on key aging industry and regulatory trends and developments, support and maintain competitive intelligence database.
  13. Perform other related duties as required.
