We have an exciting opening for a Shipping & Receiving and Painting Associate on our swing shift in Corona, CA. This position you will have an opportunity to rotate between warehouse, shipping & receiving and our painting roles and are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented team member.

Swing shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Your responsibilities

  • Use of various types of powered industrial vehicles and crane systems to move materials.
  • Ensures all materials are labeled, packaged, and shipped in accordance to work instruction / guidelines.
  • Prepares export documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and miscellaneous forms.
  • Uses air and motor freight systems, practices, rates, and the routing, to ensure most practical and economic method of shipment.
  • Facilitates purchases for shipping supplies.
  • Ensures appropriate preparing, expediting, dispatching, picking and loading of shipments.
  • Completes various types of paperwork related to inspections and production reporting.
  • Properly document incoming and outgoing goods or products to work standards.
  • Verify product / quantity and ensures raw parts and materials are stored safely in the proper location.
  • Makes crates, skids, boxes, and prepares products for shipment.
  • Understand and facilitate Kanban inventory system accuracy
  • Performs the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles.
  • Cleans equipment and work area to 5S Lean principles
  • Prep cylinders for paint per order face and load onto paint conveyor
  • Paint product with an air mix spray gun and water-based paint of various colors
  • Daily setup, shutdown and clean-up of paint system, paint booth and related materials

Who we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Must be able to read tape measure and other measuring devices.
  • Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

Ideally, you will also have

  • Prior forklift experience
  • Prior use of over-head crane/hoist
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $24.49/hr to $27.5/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
