Description As a valued member of the 5W Acute Pediatrics team, you will serve under the direct supervision of a nurse manager in order to assist patients with admissions, transfer, and discharge; personal hygiene and excretory needs; meals; and patient safety/comfort. Salary Range: $26.57 - $35.02 hourly Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with: CNA certification, required BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required 1 year of CNA experience, preferred Ability to pass an 8 hour computer data entry training course Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RT assisted tasks Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred Skill in evaluating and reporting emergent patient/unit information Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under a heavy workload Be able to cross train to be a monitor tech in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
