What You'll Do:
- Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications
- Use various measuring devices, such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales
- Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems
- Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
- Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues
- Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards
- 1 year of experience in conformal coating
- 2 years of experience in visual solder Inspection
- 2 years of experience in inspecting solder connections, both SMT and Thru hole applications in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 needed.
- 1 year of experience in Blueprint Reading
- 1 year of experience in IPC-WHMA-A-620
- 1 year of experience in Visual Inspection
- 1 year of experience in Wireharness Print Reading
- Measurement Standards

What Sets You Apart:
- Strong background in cable manufacturing and inspection
- Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, and work instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management
- Proficient with Personal Computers and newer applications
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must take and pass a medical screening exam as outlined in the supplier guide.
- Must be able to navigate within the IPC standard and decipher accept/reject criteria.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Personal Computers.
- Interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of operations when communicating quality defects.
- Ability to Read Engineering Drawings
- Documentation Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
