TEKsystems' client is expanding their Field Services team and looking for a Field Technician to support locations across Southeast Virginia. What You'll Do * Install, upgrade, and maintain IT infrastructure across business offices and industrial environments * Take ownership of local projects, migrations, and complex technical troubleshooting * Work with a wide variety of technologies-networking, wireless, surveillance, PCs, printers, POS systems, power supplies, and more * Support copper and fiber voice/data infrastructure Role Details * 80% travel; company vehicle included * Mostly local travel with occasional overnight stays * Ideal for candidates who prefer field work over desk work A strong opportunity to join a stable organization and work with a wide range of technologies. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $48.00/hr.
