What you will be doing...

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to support the deployment and operation of real-time machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and operationalizing scalable, secure platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migrate and operate real-time machine learning models on AWS EKS, transitioning workloads from on-premises environments.

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Argo CD, Jenkins, and Git to support blue/green and automated deployments.

  • Provision and manage infrastructure components including Kubernetes templates, Helm charts, Docker images, Istio configurations, PostgreSQL databases, and S3 storage.

  • Perform security audits, enhancements, and vulnerability remediation for microservices to ensure compliance and platform resilience.

  • Configure and maintain security controls, including firewalls, security groups, and automated security scanning tools.

  • Monitor application and infrastructure health using centralized logging and alerting solutions.

  • Build and manage Linux-based EC2 instances using configuration management and automation tools.

  • Collaborate with global development teams to review code, provide technical guidance, and resolve platform issues.

  • Administer API management resources, enforcing security standards such as threat protection and API key management.

What we are looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Kubernetes (CKAD) and/or AWS Developer Associate certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and Lambda.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Istio.

  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Java.

  • Experience with backend and frontend frameworks, including Node.js, Express, and React.

  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • Familiarity/experience with Agile Scrum, Apache Httpd (SSO), Ansible, Automation Anywhere, AWS (CFT, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, EBS, EFS, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, LBs, S3), Bootstrap, CentOS, CSS, Docker, ExpressJS, Git, HTML, Istio, Java, Javascript, Jenkins, Jest, K8s, Linux, Material UI, Node.JS, Podman, PostgreSQL, Python, React.JS, React Router, Redux, RHEL, RPA, Security Scans (42Crunch, Blackduck, Fortify, Sonarqube, Sysdig, Tenable, Twistlock), SQL, Typescript, Windows 11

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $119,000.00 - $207,000.00.
