We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design efforts for groundbreaking Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) projects. This role is pivotal in developing next-generation production infrastructure, enabling unprecedented manufacturing scale and efficiency. In this role, you will work independently on various projects. The CFD Engineer may assist as a technical expert on specialized design. You may work on several concurrent projects, providing CFD simulation and assisting the design team to develop solutions, alternatives, and progress the design.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate CFD models using ANSYS or other industry-standard software (e.g. STAR-CCM+)
- Perform CFD simulations for HVAC systems, factories, cleanrooms, and industrial processes to predict airflow, temperature distribution, and pressure drops
- Interpret simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations to improve system performance and energy efficiency
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate CFD findings into design documents and specifications
- Prepare engineering studies, feasibility reports, and technical documentation for CFD analyses
- Provide solutions by using a variety of tools such as Carrier HAP, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Optimize designs through parametric studies and sensitivity analyses
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in CFD analysis and simulation
- Understanding of building load calculation and simulation
- Preferred to be Registered and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE) with active NCEES record and ability to acquire State PE license
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics
- Professional design experience in a wide range of project types including industrial and mission critical, data centers, high tech/R&D, bio-tech/pharmaceutical and industrial
