Senior Project Manager

What this job involves:

As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will play a crucial role in leading and delivering complex commercial real estate projects from inception to completion, ensuring exceptional results for our clients across diverse portfolios. You will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing project scope, budget, schedule, and quality while coordinating multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants. This position requires a seasoned professional who can balance competing priorities, apply strategic thinking and technical expertise to navigate challenges, and maintain the highest standards of project management excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously, managing budgets ranging from $50,00 to $250,00 + and ensuring adherence to financial targets and timelines while delivering exceptional project management services across diverse client portfolios
  • Lead project kick-off meetings, establish clear objectives and deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans including schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving conflicts to maintain project momentum and ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress through regular site visits, status meetings, and reporting, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Review and approve contractor invoices, change orders, and payment applications while maintaining detailed financial tracking and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and JLL's project management methodologies throughout all project phases
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports to clients and senior leadership, clearly communicating project status, risks, and recommendations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their goals and objectives while championing JLL's values and culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar discipline
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems including electrical, mechanical and plumbing
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency with project management software including MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar platforms, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Construction Management, or similar discipline
  • Experience leading projects in multiple sectors, including office, retail, industrial, healthcare, life sciences, or other specialized sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation in project delivery methods
  • Knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and building codes
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices, LEED certification processes, and current trends in workplace strategy and design
  • Experience with integrated project delivery methods, including design-build, construction management at-risk, or IPD approaches
  • Previous experience working in a corporate real estate services or consulting environment
