YOUR IMPACT
During this 6-week internship, students will engage in a variety of professional development and hands-on work experiences designed to build core workplace skills and expose them to a corporate environment.
You will participate in structured networking events with McKinsey professionals and receive resume-building support and training on key professional skills such as communication, time management, and office etiquette. Additionally, you will deliver a final presentation summarizing their experience and key learnings.
You will also assist in organizing office events including room set-up, ordering catering, post-event clean up, managing schedules, and coordinating meetings and help oversee office logistics, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment, which includes assisting in the maintenance and deployment of office a/v equipment & laptop projection technology and assisting with office supply orders, including taking inventory, preparing and submitting orders and unpacking deliveries.
Additionally, you will support coordination of campus and recruiting events and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of various strategies.
You will also help organize training workshops and learning sessions for McKinsey colleagues and contribute to creating educational materials and resources for internal use.
You will attend workshops and virtual or in-person learning sessions with the goal of learning the basics of Excel and PowerPoint, including formatting and presentation best practices. You will also participate in a mock problem-solving session led by McKinsey consultants to gain exposure to real consulting approaches
This employment will have the starting rate of $26 per hour for a maximum of 8 hours per week for a 6 week period. You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
