What You'll Do:
Support and improve quality systems that ensure our products meet performance, safety, and customer expectations.
- Assist in developing and improving quality assurance programs, procedures, and controls aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Design and implement quality control processes using statistical and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Analyze quality data and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Support development and execution of quality plans, especially for new product development and complex assemblies.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and procedures.
- Interface with customers and vendors to resolve quality issues.
- Develop and perform laboratory testing and validation procedures.
- Create and maintain ISO documentation and report quality metrics to leadership.
- Design simple fixtures, tools, or process controls to improve production quality.
- Plan and perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance and drive improvement.
- Support calibration systems and ensure compliance with standards.
- Operate equipment to evaluate product and process performance, collect data, and analyze results.
- Provide guidance and support to QA technicians and inspectors.
- Promote a culture of problem-solving, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, risk management, and process control.
- Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- 1-3 years of related experience is a plus.
- Experience supporting new product development is a plus.
