Purpose

As part of the Worley Graduate Community, you'll join our civil engineering team and work alongside experienced engineers who will mentor and support you as you build your career. In this role, you'll contribute to delivering civil engineering services to Worley and our customers while gaining hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of civil engineering work in line with Worley standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations-on time and within budget
  • Contribute to engineering studies and analyses, and help develop practical solutions
  • Assist with preparing technical documentation, including specifications, calculations, and reports
  • Collaborate with the civil team and communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients
  • Identify issues, work through solutions, and seek guidance when needed
  • Participate in internal project and design review meetings

Provide general project support as required

What You'll Bring

  • A basic understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Exposure to, or willingness to learn, civil engineering design tools and software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related discipline)
  • 0-2 years of experience (internship or co-op experience is a plus)
  • Eligibility to work in the relevant location

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Degree aligned with requirements for professional engineer (PE) or chartered status
  • Internship, co-op, or prior experience in an engineering environment
  • Exposure to industry-standard civil engineering software
