Maintenance Engineer

The Maintenance Engineer performs the duties necessary to keep the mechanical equipment of the hospital in good working order. This includes boilers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, digital controls, and other equipment. The Maintenance Engineer also performs preventative, corrective and requisitioned maintenance within the facility and completes general work orders and assists other departments as needed.

Work Schedule:

1.0 FTE - 40 hours

Hours are: 6:00am - 2:30pm M-F; Call rotation every 4th week. During this week, the hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm

The primary responsibility for this position is supporting the Westfields Hospital site, including on-call coverage. Additionally, this role will provide support at other HealthPartners St. Croix Valley locations as operational needs arise.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree/certification in repairing and operating HVAC systems.

• Five years of experience in operations and repair of facility operating systems including experience with HVAC systems.

• Valid driver's license

• EPA Refrigeration certification

• Certification to purchase/install refrigerants.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Class 2C Boiler Engineers License
