Description Our client is seeking a 3PL Operations Manager to oversee and elevate our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations in the Nashville region. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between corporate goals and boots-on-the-ground execution. You will be the primary lead for our strategic partnership, responsible for ensuring that our 3PL partners are not only meeting their contractual obligations but are also continuously evolving to support client growth. You will drive operational excellence by managing performance, refining processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Strategic Partner Management: * Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL leadership. Build and maintain a high-trust, high-performance relationship that aligns with client global supply chain strategy. * Performance & Metrics Governance: Develop, monitor, and report on critical Logistics KPIs (e.g., lead times, throughput, accuracy, and cost-to-serve). * Host regular business reviews to evaluate vendor performance and address operational gaps. * Establish regional benchmarking to ensure the Nashville site meets global performance standards. Operational Excellence: * Collaborate with 3PL partners to drive data-driven process optimizations and workflow enhancements. * Oversee the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational consistency and quality. * Lead root-cause analysis for any performance deviations and implement corrective action plans. Resource & Roadmap Management: * Partner with vendors to ensure optimum use of labor and facility resources. * Communicate the regional project roadmap and operational status to senior leadership teams. * Drive the adoption of new operational equipment and tools to improve site productivity. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $63.00/hr.
