Valet Driver

Job Summary

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking professional and service-oriented Valet Drivers to join the Transportation team. Valet Drivers are responsible for safely transporting guests and members, providing luggage assistance, supporting front drive operations, and delivering a positive guest experience consistent with the resort's standards of genuine Texas hospitality.

This role requires strong driving skills, knowledge of the resort and surrounding areas, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Essential Job Functions



  • Safely transport guests and members to designated destinations in resort shuttles, vans, and individual vehicles.
  • Assist guests with luggage and provide support when entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Support front drive operations and work cohesively with the valet team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all fleet vehicles, interior and exterior, in accordance with resort standards.
  • Coordinate, track, and respond promptly to transportation requests.
  • Access, input, and retrieve information using department computer systems.
  • Accurately complete billing procedures and manage SMS reports.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume and time-sensitive situations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of resort amenities, schedules, events, and promotions.
  • Serve as a dispatcher when needed.


Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report; must pass drug screening and annual renewals.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage and assist valet operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with state driving laws.
  • Adherence to all resort policies, procedures, and safety standards.

This is a tipped position with competitive hourly pay.

Experience
1 years: Six (6) months or more of experience in valet operations, resort transportation, hotel front drive, or similar fast-paced environments involving vehicle handling, luggage assistance, and coordination with front-of-house teams. (required)
1 years: At least one (1) year of experience driving vehicles in a professional setting, such as valet services, shuttle driving, delivery driving, or passenger transportation, with a demonstrated safe driving record. (required)
1 years: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, retail, tourism, transportation, or service environments requiring professional guest interaction and service delivery. (required)
